Angie earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Central Florida and is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Maryland. She has experience working as a therapist in outpatient mental health settings, as well as working in a residential treatment setting with adolescent girls who have experienced trauma. Her clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a range of mental health concerns. Angie enjoys working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and has a particular interest in supporting LGBTQIA+ clients. Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, mood-related concerns, emotional and behavioral challenges, and life transitions. She utilizes evidence-based, strengths-focused, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Angie strives to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment. She wants clients to know that they do not have to navigate their challenges alone.
