Psychiatric medication management is the process of evaluating, prescribing, and monitoring medications used to treat mental health conditions. At August Rose Health Center, medication management is provided by our Medical Director, Olayemi Johnson, PMHNP — a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with specialized training in psychopharmacology for children, teens, and adults.
Unlike a primary care visit where medication may be prescribed alongside many other concerns, our dedicated psychiatric medication appointments focus entirely on your mental health — ensuring the right medication, the right dosage, and the right monitoring for your specific needs.
