Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program Counselor
I am a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) Counselor with a background in psychology and behavioral health. I work with adolescents and adults to build the practical skills, confidence, and community connections needed to become more independent and take an active role in their own lives. My work focuses on self-advocacy, independent living, emotional wellness, community resources, and education or employment goals.
I believe in meeting people where they are while helping them move toward where they want to be. I value authenticity, curiosity, accountability, and collaboration, and I encourage clients to recognize their strengths, use their voice, and become more confident doing things for themselves. I am especially passionate about working with families, LGBTQIA+ individuals, people navigating major life transitions, and those who may not always feel fully understood or represented within traditional mental health spaces.
I am continuing my professional education in Marriage and Family Therapy, with the long-term goal of entering private practice as a clinician working with individuals, couples, and families. I hope to carry the same commitment to authenticity, independence, advocacy, and meaningful growth into my future clinical work.
