Breyana Almestica

 I’m a Caribbean-born woman from the beautiful island of St. Croix, and my passion for helping others, especially in the area of mental health, started at an early age. Growing up, I watched my mother dedicate more than 20 years to helping others and serving her community, which inspired me to find my own path in the behavioral health field.

I began my career on the administrative side of mental health, where I gained experience supporting clients, families, and behavioral health programs. My experience also includes working with nonprofit organizations, teaching children the arts, and helping organize and produce school performances in St. Croix. These experiences strengthened my love for working with young people and creating spaces where they can express themselves, build confidence, and feel supported.

I am especially passionate about working with adolescents. I believe young people are the future and that, with the right support, encouragement, and opportunities, they can discover their strengths and create positive paths for themselves. My approach is centered on building genuine relationships, meeting young people where they are, listening without judgment, and helping them recognize their strengths, express themselves, and feel confident in their ability to grow.
