Della Roderick, LCPC
Chief Executive Officer
Della Roderick is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and the founder of August Rose Health Center. She earned her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University and her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Rhode Island, and has been licensed in Maryland since 2013.
Over more than a decade in the behavioral health field, Della has worked across the full continuum of care — residential programs, Psychiatric Rehabilitation Programs (PRP), and Outpatient Mental Health Centers — in roles ranging from direct clinician to program director. That range gives her a grounded understanding of both the clinical work and the systems that surround it.
Della has a particular interest in trauma and draws on Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) in her approach, helping clients examine the beliefs that shape how they feel and respond so they can move toward more resilient, intentional living. Her work is rooted in the conviction that healing is possible at every stage, and that people are capable of far more growth than their circumstances often suggest.
