Professional Background & Experience Jasmine obtained her undergraduate degree in psychology and child advocacy certification at Wilmington University a private university in Newark, Delaware. Enthusiastic lifelong learner Jasmine was a high school social studies and psychology teacher with Anne Arundel County Public Schools for two years.

Jasmine is currently pursuing her master's degree in the CACREP accredited mental health counseling program at Bowie State University. Jasmine is working towards gaining experience in the field, licensure in trauma-informed therapy, drug and alcohol rehabilitation licensure, within the state of Maryland. Areas of Interest / Specialization Areas of clinical interest include trauma-informed therapy and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). I am interested in and focused on serving child, adolescent, and young adult mental health clients. Approach to Supporting Clients What guides my work in supporting clients are trauma-informed therapeutic approaches and rational behavioral therapy (REBT) approaches. The goal is to provide my clients with the tools they need to create positive self-esteem, behaviors, and coping mechanisms so that they are able to face the challenges
