Madeline Murphy is a trauma-informed Licensed Master Social Worker with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master of Social Work from the University of Central Florida (UCF). Licensed in both Maryland and Georgia, she works with adults, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, experiencing a variety of mental health concerns, with a particular focus on trauma and PTSD.
Madeline is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR-T) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT-T) and is Internal Family Systems informed (IFS-I). She believes therapy should never feel one-size-fits-all and enjoys pulling from different approaches to find what feels most helpful and meaningful for each person.
Above all, Madeline strives to create a warm, affirming, and judgment-free space where clients can show up as they are, feel genuinely heard, and safely work through difficult experiences. She believes healing looks different for everyone and is passionate about helping clients better understand themselves, build self-compassion, and create meaningful change in their lives.
