Mckenzie Campbell

I have worked as a Registered Behavior Technician for a year working with children who have autism, ADHD or other behavioral concerns. While in this position I provided in home therapy to 4 different client ages 7-15 years old. I also received my Bachelors of Science in psychology from Howard University. My area of specialization is working with urban children, youth and families as a LCSW-C therapist. I also have a love for the Spanish language and culture and have intermediate Spanish speaking skills and would love to become more fluent to eventually provide therapy services to Spanish speakers as well. What inspires my work and my approach to support clients and families is being an open minded person who is empathetic. I also love to reflect and ask questions to get a better understanding as to why certain families or clients need help and what prompted their desire for services. Lastly I love to think of creative ways to make clients feel comfortable in receiving services as it can sometimes be uncomfortable for those new to it.
