Nicole Harvey, LCSW-C, LICSW is a dedicated behavioral and mental health professional licensed in Maryland and Washington, D.C., with over 11 years of experience in the social work field supporting individuals and families through a variety of emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. Her professional background spans roles as a clinical supervisor, staff development specialist, child welfare professional, school-based social worker, and mental health clinical therapist.
Nicole is passionate about creating supportive, trauma-informed, and collaborative environments where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered. Her areas of interest include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, supportive therapy, emotional regulation, coping skills, self-esteem and confidence, anxiety, depression, behavioral support, and helping individuals develop the insight and tools needed to navigate life’s challenges. From a supervisory perspective, she is committed to supporting clinicians in strengthening their professional skills, maintaining ethical and clinically sound practices, and providing compassionate, high-quality care.
What inspires Nicole’s work is the belief that every individual has the capacity for growth when provided with the right support, understanding, and resources. She approaches her work with empathy, collaboration, and a strengths-based perspective, recognizing that effective care begins with building trust and meeting people where they are.
